Redskins @ Giants – The Pregame Parking Lot

Despite the egalitarian nature of the puffy guys behind the customized H2 above, the parking lots of Giants Stadium are enormously, aggressively blue. There are Redskins fans, but they seem to be greatly scattered, just random single fans with big groups of Giants fans.
In my circuit around the parking lot — which, I’ll admit, was somewhat briefer than it would’ve been if I hadn’t been wearing a Redskins polo shirt and Redskins credential — I spotted only one all-Redskins tailgate, the three Taylor siblings down from Connecticut.
The three — originally from Virginia Beach, so another group from the 757 — have made this trip three times, and they swear Giants fans are nothing but pleasant to them. Given that I was booed more or less incessantly as I walked through the parking lot, I’m skeptical, but more power to them.
Here is my best effort at showing what this one spot of concentrated red looks like in that sea of blue.
