Friday, May 22: Colt Brennan On Fishing And Conditioning
The coaches have the day off today, as do the players. There is more or less no one here. I asked around for people's plans for the long weekend, but most everyone was excited just to get a break from conditioning and have some time to spend with their families. Colt Brennan, though, mentioned that he was going deep sea fishing -- so I asked him about that -- and about his progress through the conditioning program, before he departed yesterday.

Colt is on the right track with the fresh "on the boat" fish. Nothing is better, although I've never had it prepared how he described it.
The BEST is fresh Ceviche! We went Dorado fishing off the coast of Ecuador, and that was the absolute best ceviche I've ever had in my life. As soon as the dorado was on deck, they sliced it up, added lime, lemon juice, chopped onion and habanero.... it was amazing.
