Pick #186: Redskins Select Robert Henson, LB From TCU
Another pick, another linebacker for the Redskins -- this time Robert Henson, out of TCU. NFL.com doesn't have a lot of information on him, but there's highlight footage of him online, and it's actually of him playing the position he was (presumably) drafted for. So that's nice, at least.
Henson also has a Twitter feed, although he hasn't updated it in a week (and would likely have to choose a new username once he's no longer TCU LB #51).

NOOOOOOOOOO
why? why? we have LBs....we already PICKED ONE!!!!
there are good O lineman available......
we SHOULD have taken ian johnson.......he could be a great back to tack some pressure off clinton portis and ISNT shaun alexander.
SOOOOOO many people to pick who arn't a waste of a draft pick and they find one who isn't
why am i beginning to not be surprised.

Wow, A pick that looks like it wasn't drawn out of a hat. I would have been happy with henson at pick 158. Decent prospect. Hopefully we grab some o-lineman in the 7th.

I think he looks pretty good a lot better than the other lb they got earlier, he has good hands too looks like a ball hawk i don't know if he could be a starter but it gives us good depth. Ive liked all of the pics so far except for cody what's his face, as far as o line help i still think they will pick up another free agent or two.

Finally a pick I don't hate! Henson might actually help! One question though: where is the OL help!?! Danny Boy and Vinny are still IDIOTS, as I said in my post after our last pick!

And the Oline plan??? Is the game plan to let the defense win games, let the offence sputter and get JC creamed??
I appreciate the efforts to strengthen the future of the defence
Glad Snyratto did not take the Sanchez bait of a future Heath Schuler, but seriously, what is the plan to strengthen the future of the Oline?

Whats up with the Munchkin linebackers. They are drafting special teamers when they need big fuking O-Linemen and a running back who doesn't want to coach also.

Super more special teamers, havent we done this before with Robert McCune and Kevin Simon? They were undersized special teamers that we reached for also and of course they didnt make it either. We're drafting like we dont have holes and just need bodies to compete for special teams spots...very disapointing day 2 of the draft. I bet you neither of these guys last any longer than our P did from last year, if that long.

Well at least this guy looks like a football player. That's a start. He seems to be pretty good in pass coverage and has twice the hands that Carlos Rogers has. He's still just another special teamer like everybody else here is saying. I guess the o-line is perfect just the way it is, especially after they just signed a guy off the street (Mike Williams) who hasn't played in a couple of years. Nothing like waiting until the 7th round to pick up help for the o-line.

This LB does show good coverage skills and a nose for the ball. He's not very tall but he has a stout body. London's not tall but he can ball. I'm scratching my head on the Nebraska LB pick when we could have drafted a O-Lineman.

Fella's, there wasn't any quality OL left in the late rounds... They already have project OL on the roster, so why get more? This was a head scratching for me at first, but after reading about him & seeing his film. This is a great pickup. Dude can ball, plain and simple. He will be competing for starting spot...

I am not sure if this was a good pick or not, but how many LBs we have that can grab the ball like this kid? I was a little surprised with his interceptions stat, was expecting fumbles. This kid is quick at getting to the receiver and has the hands to make the interception.
