Jason Taylor Released
Posted by on March 2, 2009 – 4:09 pm
Hey, remember last week when I made my case for Jason Taylor? I had this whole statistical argument for why I thought he was going to put up legitimate numbers next season — and that was BEFORE the Albert Haynesworth signing.
Well, here’s the good news: I might’ve been wrong.
The bad news is, if I was right and he does rebound from a wildly disappointing year, he’ll be doing it for another team, because he was released from the Redskins today.

Two Press Conferences Tomorrow
Posted by on March 2, 2009 – 10:58 am

Jeffri Chadiha at ESPN.com: Haynesworth might be D.C.’s stimulus
Akhorus at HailRedskins.com: Cerrato’s stimulus package
Spence, at DC Pro Sports Report: “Finally, a memo to Jim Zorn: Your job is on the line, hombre. The owner just spent a fair chunk of the U.S. stimulus package to make your job easier.”
… Yeah, I’m not coming up with anything either. If only the economy was in the news more, I’m sure it’d be easier. Read more »
